Kiss

A-jarring introduction
pulls air in sharply
and lets loose a flood.

Her heart-swell beads;
bitten sweetness
on your lips,
a memory
drips like aged honey.

The audacity
of your tongue
to prise it from her,
richly rewarded
by mouths

in communion.
